0xF4 BSOD issue on new computer
Hey guys,
About a month ago, I built a mostly new rig with the following specs:
AsRock Z68 Extreme4
Intel i7 2600K
2x4GB Kingston HyperX T1
120GB OCZ Agility 3
Reusing the following items from my old pc, these have been working for years without trouble:
nVidia GeForce GTX 260
Corsair T520W PSU
2 spinning harddrives
The BSOD in question you can see in the attached minidump files. What happens is one of two things:
a) The computer crashes shortly after boot, while only a browser is active.
b) The computer is stable for a while, then I get an error about windows failing to put something into memory, and that explorer.exe and other windows components suddenly arent valid applications.
Other times, the computer is completely stable. I have never ever seen it crash while gaming, its only while browsing web or other light usage.
So far I have tried the following to fix it:
Changed graphics drivers
Changed sound drivers
Updated all motherboard-related drivers
BIOS update
Firmware for ssd update
Manually setting clock speed for memory, as bios wasnt detecting proper speed.
The windows version im using is Windows 7 Professional x64, kindly supplied by my college.
Regarding hardware tests, chkdisk finds nothing, memtest86 has completed 6 passes with no faults, and Prime95 couldn't crash my CPU.
Any suggestions?
