Related to your directX driver. Could be the driver, card, heat, power, etc.
I would start by running an SFC
Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW
Read here for more information SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Let us know the results from the report at the end.
Did tend to think that it was graphics card related from the research that I did, following advice from other threads, I ran sfc/scannow with no errors, ran chkdsk/r with no errors and then also reinstalled cleanly after using driver sweeper my nvidia gtx 470 drivers again. Temps when the crash happened were at 71C but the card is rated upto 105C from what nvidia say so I cant see heat being an issue.
Thanks for your help, any other ideas?
Try this Nomad on the video card it's a stress test: FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net
And if it passes after 20 minutes of burn in then enable driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable will get it hopefully to isolate the exact driver causing this issue. After it BSOD's upload the new .dmp.
Thanks
Seth
Thanks for the help guys, but the issue was very mundane.
Essentially NVIDIA had released a new driver a couple of weeks ago which was in the number series 280.26, despite being win 7 whql certified, TDU 2 definitely does not like it at all.
Gone back to 275.33 and that works perfectly, what a headache! Spent hours testing memory, testing HDD and CPU all because NVIDIA is buggy!
Cheers
Well, I thought it was but I did make another post as it was a different BSOD error this time, it was an IRQL not less or equal but without the driver bit at the front.
My PC is as stated, just recently put this AMD X6 1090T in there and am trying to get it stable.
So far I have run 4 hours of prime 95 with no errors, max temps 59C.
Intel Burn Test at Maximum settings for 5 passes with a success, 60C
Run Cine Bench 5 times in quick succession
Ran Unigine heaven without issue
Just finished MSI Kombustor extreme burn in with 1920x1080 openl gl 3 with max GPU temps of 81C after 30 mins
MSI kombustor extreme burn in 1920x1080 D3D11 max GPU temps 75C
I just dont get it, its passing all the tests without error, the temperatures on the CPU are never higher than 56-57C the temperatures on the GPU are never higher than 66-74C and yet i still seem to get these random crashes.
I had another one today after about three hours of TDU 2 but this time it was a secondary procesor clock interupt error!!
Please help anybody, I am at my wits end, cant think what else to do!
Cheers
Did you ever enable driver verifier so we could get a couple of blue screens that will point to the guilty driver please do this after you enable the verifier let the computer crash a couple of times before you delete the settings. This is very important:
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
After that please follow the posting instruction by following this guide it will give us so much more information that we need:

OK, will get around to that soon, will see what I can do, just running malwarebytes to be on the safe side. Thanks Seth, I owe you one, Ther is another minidump for the IQL error on another post entitled BSOD irql tdu 2, the clock interupt dump i have deleted am afraid. cheers.
