BSOD with BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER error

    I found this thread and tried using regedit...
    .exe files won't open

    But my values were already set to the proper settings...and yet I still cannot get anything to run
      My Computer

    You say in Post 1
    but my pc is in such bad shape
    To give a hint, I did have some sort of virus issue in December and the issues started at that time. Norton now says I don't have any virus issues, but the damage apparently has been done.
    IMHO Considering the multitude of problems you appear to have & the troubleshooting you have done thus far... the quickest & most reliable way to get your computer clean, up & running properly again would be to take a deep breath... & do a clean install.
