Sorry you are in a panic. Your system contains a leaked acer license. It is definitely not genuine. How to Tell.
Do you have the contact information for the person you bought the system from?

yes but they wont answer any calls.
should i just buy a legit windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and reinstall my OS?
You are always welcome to buy a legal version. I am sorry that you were cheated, though. If it were me, I would report it and try to get a refund, but that really depends on your comfort level and whether you feel like going through the hassle.
thanks for all the help despite forum rules
how would i go about doing that?
this forum has been more helpful to me than even microsoft.com
Is it only my OS that is non-genuine or is it my Product Key too??
Could i use my product key to do a repair install???
It could be both; I was referring primarily to your license key, though.
Depending on where the installation media was obtained, that may also contain security leaks and magnafoozled Windows files.
And we can help you to obtain genuine Windows; we just are unable to help you beyond that until you have genuine Windows. Considering that this sounds like it was not your intention to deceive us, I am working under the assumption that you were cheated and deserve a fair deal.
On that note, to report the incident with the pirated Windows installation you received:
hello,
can i use my product key that i have to do a repair install using the repair install instruction found on this forum?
