Mulitple BSOD - Memory Management, IRQL not less or equal, Page Fault.
Hello,
I think I'm correct in saying that this is my first time posting to a forum with regards to my BSODs (Amazingly, I haven't had any until now).
So over the past month I've been getting some issues with various BSOD's popping up, and I think it is either a motherboard or memory issue (or both), however I was looking to try and confirm my suspicions.
I bought a new PC about 3 months ago (i7 3770K, Asus P8Z77-V, Corsair 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Vengeance, SSD etc) and it seemed to run fine apart from the fact that when the PC boots up from cold it is unable to start the network card (Code 10: Cannot start device) is shown in the device manager. I ignored this, as I generally tend to sleep the computer rather than shut it down. I also thought it might be fixed in a later BIOS/driver but it hasn't If you're wondering how I get on to the internet I have to uninstall the driver in the device manager and refresh the listings. This seems to re install the driver and start the NIC - all fine!
On to the BSODs, well these all seem to point to memory. But I was hoping if I could get some assistance on proving that it is (or is not) the memory at fault. I know I'm going to have to run a mem-test, but I was hoping to get some tips before I do, as I was planning on running mem-test on each stick for a good few hours. So some help and points before I do this would be a real big help
I've included the required zip file as highlighted in the guide BSOD - Posting Instructions (as a side node, this is a really awesome tool!).
Obviously all help is appreciated, and if any further information is required let me know :)
P.S. The PC has not been overclocked, and is running on BIOS default settings.
thanks,
Luke.
