    2. In PowerShell, copy and paste the command below, and press Enter. (see screenshot below)
NOTE: To paste the copied command into PowerShell, you will just need to right click in PowerShell.
It is normal Powershell is different in that manner much like the Command prompt.

Answer me this does this occur in Safe-Mode as well?

No, so far I've not had it lock up and become unresponsive in Safe Mode. But then again that could be because I didn't keep it in Safe Mode long enough?

There's absolutely no rhyme or reason to this problem that I can see. Sometimes it'll freeze/lock up a dozen times a day then sometimes it'll go 3-4 days before freezing/locking up. Sometimes I'll get a popup saying the web page I'm viewing has stopped responding. Other times I'll get a popup saying Internet explorer or explorer.exe has stopped responding and then sometimes I get no popups or messages at all and the thing just locks up and all I can do is a hard reset by holding down the power button till it goes off and restart.

I've been wrestling with this since the day I took this thing out of the box and the only thing I know for sure is I'll never buy another HP product.

I just wonder if this particular installation of Windows is just somehow "bad"? If I had a copy of Windows on disc I'd just nuke the entire hard drive and see if that fixed it.

Really appreciate your help on this.

It is up to your feeling with the system as to when it should have been locked yet or not.
A clean install will eliminate any software issues.

You can follow this tutorial on how to accomplish that.
