several BSOD after startup, tried to fix myself, diagnostic attached

Hello! Thanks for reading through my post :)

So over the last 6 weeks, I have been getting the blue screen a several minutes after start-up. Last week it happened a couple of days in a row. I had a tech come and to my surprise he just ran a virus scan and disabled some start-up items. Next day I had blue screen again and then finally got blue screen with a sharp noise and immediate shut down.

Not knowing what to do....I did the following:

Bought a second HD and installed it. Cloned C Drive.
Was going to do a fresh install but of course had no disks. Got ISO file from Microsoft and burned to disk.
When I rebooted with disk it said there was something wrong with startup and asked if I wanted to recover windows? Anyways, I said yes.

Now when I reboot, I get a Boot Menu each time. Choice between Windows 7 or Windows 7 Home Premium (recovered) - which only works with the installation CD. So far the Windows 7 is working. I am not sure what I did though or why I am getting Boot Menu each time?

My next question is, I have not had the blue screen for two days, but how do I know if I have resolved the problem? What do I need to do next?

Because I didn't know what to do, I did all the things I know how to do hoping one of them was the right thing. Here is a list of what I did:

Updated and ran all anti-virus tools: AVG free, Spybot, Malaware Bytes
    Updated drivers from Manufacturer's website
Checked BIOS, there is one update but it's to do with CPU so I just left it as is
    Ran a memory check
Checked Memory Dump Configuration - it's set to kernel dump (I have 6GB memory)
Ran Error Checking and Defragged HD
Uninstalled unnecessary programs and ran Disk Clean-Up

I took pictures of a few of my bluescreens but I keep getting an internal server error message (500) when I try to attach them to this post. If you think they would be helpful then I will try again.

    Thanks!

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!

    • System File Checker
      • The SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible. If you have modified your system files as in theming explorer/system files, running sfc /scannow will revert the system files to it's default state.
    • Run Disk Check in Windows 7
      • Run this on your Hard Drive(s). This will show you how to run Check Disk or chkdsk in Windows 7 to check a selected hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it. With both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log

      • Pay close attention to Part 3 of the tutorial "If you have errors". Take the test for at least 7-10 passes. It may take up to 22 passes to find problems.

Lately we have experienced some issues with the latest driver. Install the 314.22 WHQL only.

    • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update

(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

    Let us know the results.
    Keep us posted.

Thanks for taking the time to post all of that! There is certainly a lot there to keep me busy.

I have attached the file for the Check Disk Log.

    Tested RAM, no errors
Ran System File Checker, no integrity violations. Log attached.

Please clarify: updating drivers - I have latest brother drivers for my printer installed, LogMeIn and Teamviewer were just installed recently, I updated driver for LAN from manufacturer within the last week, and Egis I think I can just uninstall. I am not looking for a make work project, so are you suggesting that I do a clean reinstall of the same drivers using the Drive Sweeper?

ok, I have finally completed everything on the list, with the exception of the list of older drivers you mentioned.
I did the Nvidia uninstall, used the Display Driver Uninstall, etc.
Set up anti-virus programs as recommended.
    All scans were clean.
Reduced start-up items and figured out how to get rid of boot menu at start-up while I was there =)
I have attached the summary from Speccy.
I will mark this thread as solved.
    Thanks for your help.

I was bsod-free for one month. Happened today same as before. I have attached a picture of the screen. Can someone help me figure out what is at the root of the problem here?

    Thanks!
