Unfortunately this is definately hardware-related, and highly probable it is your video card given that you can replicate the issue each time by using the screen saver.Code:******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information. BugCheck 124, {0, fffffa8012a10028, bf800000, 200401} Probably caused by : GenuineIntel Followup: MachineOwner ---------
I'll look into your results more and post here again soon.
Oh, on a side note. I un-installed several items yesterday, just to see if it would help They are below
Gigabyte USB On/Off charge.
Gigabyte Easy Switch= I am not using Raid
Gigabyte EZ Setup
Gigabyte Smart Recovery
Cfossspeed
Marvell SATA Driver= I am using a single hard drive on the Intel SATA controller (Wasn't sure if I need it since I am not using the Marvell SATA connector).
Well I have to laugh, un-installing the above wasn't it. I did a little web surfing maybe 20 minutes, left the room for 20 came back and what do you know. This was after a fresh boot-up, didn't play any games either. The same thing, Windows rebooted for the same error.
It won't help this BSOD but I would leave the Gigabyte utilities uninstalled.....the ONOFF is especially prone to cause them.
BSOD at bootup and shutdown, Windows 7 Ultimate.
Hi Golden,
I also un-installed Gigabytes Easy Tune . I am wondering if I should just remove all there stuff. The only thing else I have is the APP center and @Bios. I didn't have any issues after un-installing Easy Tune. How can I make sure it removed everything. I used the un-install option in programs in the control panel. Did you see anything else in my dump file. Thanks
Well 4 days now after un-installing Gigabytes Easy Tune and no BSOD's, knock on wood. I will update if there are any changes. I have had this before for 14 days straight and then they came back.
7 Days no BSOD after un-installing Gigabytes Easy Tune. Still fingers crossed.
10 days no BSOD since removing Gigabytes East Tune. Have put the machine thru some heavy use too. Will post if anything changes.
