On Wed 30.04.2014 14:46:08 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\043014-19203-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: dxgkrnl.sys (dxgkrnl+0x68C1C)
Bugcheck code: 0x3B (0xC000001D, 0xFFFFF88011D73C1C, 0xFFFFF88007AEAB80, 0x0)
Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\dxgkrnl.sys
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: DirectX Graphics Kernel
dump file linked.
Occurred while Chrome, skype, and Brackets(Adobe product) were open. Luckily all my coding is stored straight on Google drive.
No KIS installed at this moment; using MSE.
Can you try to roll back the display driver to the earlier version? As a test?

Is it inevitable? Because I have no "old" drivers, meaning it will go back to the default "driver", what disables my secondary monitor, displays everything at a stone-age resolution, and messes up all my graphics in general.
And Maybe it will take weeks till another BSOD happens, so I'm not very keen to do that
That means you did a clean install on the display driver earlier.
Install the NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL only, as another test.
- Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
- 3D Vision Control Driver
- 3D Vision Driver
- Graphics Driver
- HD Audio Driver
- PhysX
- nvidia Update
- GeForce Experience
(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).- Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
- Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:
Observe if it BSODs with that old version too.
Suggesting such an old version, because that one is the last released driver from nvidia that did not ever fail on itself.
sorry for the long delay, I've been busy/lazy. I've now reverted to the 314.22 version with your recommended settings. I hope the bsods are solved finally =)
Marked as solved for now
occurred while browser, windows media player and Skype were open.
