Blue Screen when using screencap software 0x116

Basically, when I use a screencap software such as fraps or dxtory for an extended period, my performance will gradually slow to a crawl. I'm talking single digit 8-9 FPS crawl.

Then if i let it continue, my pc will lock up and present me with a bsod. DLL file in question is the atikmpag.sys file with a 116 error.

I am indeed overclocking pretty much everything, but the odd thing is, is that even when I do not overclock anything, the bsod will still occur when i screencap.

If i just play the game normally without screencapping, overclocked or not, the bsod will never ever occur and ill just have a fun time. :)

I feel as though this may be a graphics driver issue, so i put it in this forum, but i am sorry if it is in the wrong section. I am very new. aha.

I have included everything I could using the dm log collector. But im not sure if the information needed is included, as the dump created was over 600 megabytes. (I actually cant upload the dump file either due to file size limit. Is there a way i can relay its information in some other way?)

Enable small (minidumps) which have a more manageable size by following this:
Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Now reset all overclocks back to the default values, and then follow this:

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Driver Verifier will cause your computer to run very sluggishly - this is normal. What it is trying to do is force your system to BSOD and isolate the offending driver/s. When it does, reboot, disable driver verifier, reboot as normal and upload the new dmp file/s here.

I recommend creating a system restore point before turning on driver verifier:
System Restore Point - Create

If your system fails to boot to desktop once driver verifier is enabled, turn it off by booting into Safe Mode:
Safe Mode
