BSOD every 5-10 minutes, please help

this is constantly happening to me now, although it seems to be related to the wireless somehow. at first I thought it might be chrome so I uninstalled it but problem keeps persisting. system crashes within 10 minutes while the wireless is on. unplugged the wireless adapter and it seems to be okay so far. I have had an issue with the ralink wireless adapter drivers a few years ago but this seems to be unrelated to that?

anyway here are the dump files. any help on this would be greatly appreciated as /i need this computer for work and everything. Thanks

    Eli

I managed to get my partners laptop and do a little googling on the issue, one of the things bluescreenview kept trowing up related to the crashes was etronXHCI.sys ..... anyway found my way to some other threads on this forum and see that it seems to be a rather common problem with some usb3 gigabyte boards. disabled USB 3 in the bios and everything seems to be working!

not 100% solved yet as I need to use those usb slots for things, I'll give it a couple of days then try installing the latest usb3 drivers and enabling it in bios again.

anyone know how to tell which version of the drivers I had installed? just so I can make sure I get a later version.
will mark thread as solved once everythings all good! thanks!

This is the date on that driver,

    Code:
     Loaded symbol image file: EtronXHCI.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\EtronXHCI.sys
        Image name: EtronXHCI.sys
        Timestamp: Wed Jan 26 02:53:57 2011 (4D3FFD45)
        CheckSum: 000108AD
        ImageSize: 0000FB00
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
This driver here is a known problem,

    Code:
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for sptd.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for sptd.sys
     sptd+0x41665
Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause of BSOD's.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools.
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    - Double click the executable to open it
    - Click the button shown below

If the button it is grayed out, as shown in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can just close the window.

But your initial theory about being related to wireless is valid and it's driver is flagged in a bunch of your dumps,

    Code:
    BugCheck 10D, {5, 0, 1203, fffffa800c2c9ae0}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for netr7364.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for netr7364.sys
    Probably caused by : netr7364.sys ( netr7364+3a80f )

    Followup: MachineOwner
From about the same time as your other driver,

    Code:
    Loaded symbol image file: netr7364.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\netr7364.sys
        Image name: netr7364.sys
        Timestamp: Mon Oct 03 23:14:37 2011 (4E8AA44D)
        CheckSum: 000B6E39
        ImageSize: 000B9000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
To me it looks like you need to uninstall that adapter because it has a lot of missing info related to it,

    Code:
Name	[00000012] RT73 USB Wireless LAN Card
    Adapter Type	Not Available
Product Type	RT73 USB Wireless LAN Card
    Installed	Yes
    PNP Device ID	Not Available
    Last Reset	1/07/2015 10:49 a.m.
    Index	12
    Service Name	netr7364
    IP Address	Not Available
    IP Subnet	Not Available
    Default IP Gateway	Not Available
    DHCP Enabled	Yes
    DHCP Server	Not Available
    DHCP Lease Expires	Not Available
    DHCP Lease Obtained	Not Available
    MAC Address	Not Available
Or it's just time to get a new one.

    Thanks for the reply Derekimo.

I've had a backlog of stuff to get through so just left everything as is until now, haven't seen a blue screen since.

However I really need to use those USB 3.0 slots for things so thought I'd best try and do the drivers today.

I have no idea how to update the drivers now, could you please point me in the right direction of where to get the latest drivers so I can fix this thing??

Keep in mind I have disabled USB 3.0 in BIOS.... I was hoping to update drivers if possible while it was disabled so I don't run into anymore blue screens.

I searched through devices/hardware and found four entries for generic USB hubs. However there is not much information in them and the button to update drivers is greyed out. the dates on them seem to point to 2006.

With daemon tools since I use it every now and then I would like to keep it, as it's obviously not the major cause of my blue screens. I went onto that site and updated the SPTC driver to 1.87. don't know if that will make a difference.

I'm going to go out and buy a new wireless N USB adaptor today which will hopefully solve all my network problems.

You can find those drivers here at your motherboard support page,

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-H67MA-USB3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

You have to select Windows 7 64bit from the dropdown, choose the ASIA download,

    Attachment 365941

I don't understand the bit about disabling in BIOS though.

And the Daemon tools driver was a crash according to the dump,

    Code:
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for sptd.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for sptd.sys
     sptd+0x41665
