    Ive tried the links and completed the steps with my computer still failing to restart. I want the factory reset to be a last resort. Im not too sure what the microsoft digital mirror link is too. The only thing i can think of left is to repair my computer using the windows 7 disk which i need to buy...

    Digital river mirror is to download a win-7 iso file/ burn it to disk or usb device and you can use the repair tools...
    Or find your existing disk

    Hi,
    You can always clean/ reformat the device later for future use for other items...
    I'd say after you find your disk

    Wait, find my disk? Can i not just download that digitalriver onto the usb and then start up my computer like that?

    Yes I was saying you can reformat the flash drive later and reuse the flash drive for other things after you find the disk you say you have but have misplaced.
