Occasional random BSOD
Hi,
I'm getting these occasionally. I've run chkdsk (and repair) but the problem persists.
Grateful for any tips.

Please remove items from the startup
How to remove items from startup - Windows 7 Help Forums
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.
It seems that your crashes from this month are caused by drivers from Kaspersky.
I recommend to repair/reinstall/remove Kaspersky.
If you choose to remove Kaspersky, it is suggested to use Microsoft Security Essentials for the time of troubleshooting instead.

Thank you, I've reinstalled Kaspersky.
I'm not quite sure however what you mean by your first sentence "Please remove items from the startup".
Thanks
miguel
Are you just saying I have too many programs at startup or is there a particular one you mean?
I am saying that you have too many
This may be very unclear, but these are your startup items.
This are about 20-25.

OK, got it!
I've eliminated about 10 which I know aren't needed.
Usually the only startup items that are necessary is security items + possible audio & mouse/keyboard for proper function, most others don't need to run at startup to function proper.
Some will say that only security stuff is necessary, but peripheral items like mouse/keyboard and audio are too in my experience for proper functioning.
The last time I had disabled my touchpad per accident I had to use a restore point to get it enabled again, without it being enabled I can't use my touchpad and with every restart it kept disabled...
ouch!! sounds very painful
