In reference to an earlier quote in post #1 just what memory test/check did you do?
I ask because the only memtest we recommend is this RAM - Test with Memtest86+

The Windows feature is in my mind worth running and with this test you MUST let it run for at least 8 passes - otherwise you may as well not bother. Having said that if the errors appear before the 8 passes are up then you can stop it and start to figure out which stick is bad. In some cases it can possibly be a bad slot but that is quite uncommon.

I did use memtest86 and let it run for 16 hours. It ran 8 passes I believe and nothing was found.

Ok that's good then I might just add to what axe has suggested with the chkdsk and that is whether it might be a good idea to run it with the /f and /r switches as well.
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2

Having said that I would like to get axe's comment about that before you go ahead.

Only the /r switch is necessary, because it includes the /f switch, run the chkdsk command I mentioned earlier: chkdsk c: /r.

If done correctly, the MFT should be corrected
