Solved BSOD after putting laptop into hibernate or sleep modus

Hi,

One month ago I started getting BSODs after putting my laptop in hibernation or sleep modus with the button. Also when I use the start menu, hibernation and sleep modus give a BSOD. Shut down does not give any issues...

I tried restoring my laptop to an older restore point, but it did not solve anything.
I updated some drivers like: LAN and Nvidea graphics, but it did not help
I installed all windows updates available, nothing...

So I guess I can still use my laptop and just avoid hibernating or sleep, but it would be nice if I can get those functionalities back to working.

I added a zip.file that I created DM Log Collector, unfortunately my laptop did not create any dump files...so those are not available.

Does anyone have any solutions?

For laptop, try not to use hibernate as it demand more space and may slow down and use battery.

Refer to how to enable &or disable Hibernate

Hibernate - Enable or Disable

After you have turn off hibernate, do monitor.

I understand that hibernate might not be efficient for my laptop, but the BSOD also appears with sleep modus.
I would really like it if at least the sleep modus would work.

What do you mean with: (Don't read attachement)?

I know nothing about BSOD, hence i unable to understand on the attachment.

Other users may assist you on that.

I am using laptops and i do not close the lid to sleep.
That is why i use laptop as desktop with power adapter instead of battery.
Just Display Dim in 5 minutes and Display Turn Off in 30 minutes and "Put computer to sleep" = never.

Start --> Control Panel --= right side Search control panel --> input "Power"
Go thru all the settings and to play "around" with all the settings.
Most probably the problem is in the setting as in conflict?

Please run the DM Log Collector again, the current zip file appears to be incomplete.

You could check if there are
  1. 18 .txt,
  2. 1 .nfo,
  3. 1 or more .dmp,
files present, if this is the case then all logs are present :)
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required :)

If not all the files are included then there should be errors mentioned in the command prompt, what are the errors?

I cannot find any trace saying that an actual bluescreen had occured, or it must be one that relates to HDD issues.

That seems weird, I just runned your command again, after I created intentionately a BSOD and changed some settings for the dump files.

Hopefully you can find anything in this dump...
If it might be the HDD what are my options?

Again no log about a bluescreen, only an unexpected shutdown.

This makes me think that the problem is more a blackscreen.

That might be it....the laptop goes into hibernation and the screen turns black...than it takes a while (couple of minutes) till the BSOD shows up

Please run HDTune first, in the order posted!

Run HDTune to
  • check the health,
  • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
  • run a benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
  • the health,
  • the error scan,
  • the benchmark incl. following
    • transfer rate,
    • access time,
    • burst rate,
    • cpu usage.

Run SeaTools DOS to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums
Run the long test.
   Note
Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Use option TWO with parameter /r
Upload the chkdsk log :ar: Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log
