BSOD during start up, error 0x0000007B, restarts itself.
2 year old dell laptop
during start up the windows screen appears for about 3 seconds. the four colors turn for about two or three seconds then stops.
computer restarts.
tried all different start up modes (safe mode, safe mode with networking) and same result.
also tried start up repair and let the computer sit doing that for a few hours. eventually it said it couldn't fix it.
BSOD is below -
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDKS /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.
Technical information:

I ran a memory scan through bios and everything seems ok.
I'm thinking the hard drive is shot...but any suggestions would be great.
