Now the usual fix suggested is to uninstall the Catalyst Control Centre and install only the device driver. APU

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 17.0.5.2

It uninstallds NVidia and AMD in safe mode and deletes everything

right so I tried it, but i got another BSOD, this time its monitor.sys and atikmapg. haha so its 1 less driver than before, please note catalyst is dead, its just crimson drivers now, 17.1.1.7. So I installed only the display and HDMI audio driver, none of the other stuff. I have attached the latest minidump from the crash

You appear to be running a non-genuine install
please copy post the output from this tool,

UNTIL you provide it no further help will be provided.

Ok mate you need to do what Roy has asked and if it turns out it is non genuine then I would be looking at asking who or wherever you got the media from to get a refund and just buy a genuine OEM.

Ok mate now if it were me I would make sure the drive is cleaned or wiped (after retrieving what data you want) and not just formatted. This is because I like to know that all traces of the original install are gone and there are no remnants left behind to cause issues with the install. I am assuming this is an OEM copy of Windows that you are downloading?

There are two basic ways of cleaning that drive one is with diskpart and one with the wipe function in Partition Wizard. But you will need a second machine to hook the drive up to because doing these functions cannot be done while the drive is running Windows for obvious reasons. You can either hook the drive into another machine, use a USB to SATA adaptor or a USB / SATA dock.

The choice is yours of course but doing it the ways I have laid out may avoid any grief you may encounter by just formatting.

There are other ways of getting the copy of Windows which you can burn a bootable disk or stick but again the choice is yours.

Just one more thing this might help shorten the updates process which can be very tedious and time consuming.

my old debian "lenny" got a tool to overwrite the disk wihtin the installation manager. (even with graphical install manager)
i think any live-system like knoppix&co offers such a overwrite function.
