Hello and welcome rugal now to get it straight you have 10 installed? and you want 7 back on the drive?

What we shall have to know is what installation media do you have for the Windows 7?

If you have a genuine copy of 7 you will of course have the activation code for it and reinstalling the 7 is really quite a simple matter - well it is time consuming of course because if you do it the way I do then it requires cleaning/wiping the drive to make sure it is as new. That will need the use of a second machine though. You can of course just install over the 10 install but it is something that I personally would not recommend - but that is just me.

One thing you did say is you put together this machine just what do you mean by that?

Now mate just get the ISO from here Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool you need to go to the Windows Downloader exe and then it is just a matter of finding the correct version and bit version you have the activation code for. Now the downloader will show as a an executable on the bottom left of your screen click on it and then as in my pic you need to select just what you want.

So for example if you have the code for the Home Premium 64bit that is the version you need to download. Then click confirm and then it will give you the language option You also need to find the right language you want to get.

A tip choose from the top listing the others have N or KN alongside them and you do not need those.

See my pics it looks complicated but it is easy to walk through. The pics are not in the order I chose so see the very bottom one first.

Ok so what you are saying is you are getting a BSOD when trying to install - if so then you are doing something wrong. The other thing is did you clean or wipe that drive before you tried to re install Windows?
You can of course try a clean install without doing that and Windows should format the drive as it goes along but I am not a fan of doing that.
I am also wondering if the boot media - the drive which has the Windows ISO on it is corrupted somehow or if it is indeed bootable.

Now doing a clean install is as in this tutorial. Clean Install Windows 7 it might be an idea to follow the instructions for making the media from this too.

Edit: If you do download from the link in this tutorial it is still the Heidoc site but the look is slightly different and you need to scroll down to the French version.
