BlueScreen during Sleep (High performance power plan)
Hello everyone! Please let me know if I'm missing something important, as I'm new to the forum and not the most learned with computers.
I put my computer on sleep overnight and whenever I leave it for a while during the day. I've been doing this since I got it. There weren't any problems until I put it to sleep for a little under 48 hours, and only noticed that it unexpectedly shutdown at 12:50:28 PM on 8/11/2017. This happened two more times as I tried to fix the issue, once at 6:20:51 PM on 8/13/2017, and again at 9:23:41 PM on 8/13/2017. All shutdowns happened during user-prompted sleep.
Before the first shutdown, I was on the balanced power plan, then made changes after to try and avoid the issue. I switched to high performance and changed advanced settings to the following:
This didn't really help. Using the Event Viewer, I can confirm that I put my computer to sleep more than these three times the past 3 days, and not every sleep state resulted in a BSoD. I would like to fix this as soon as possible, since sleep mode is supposed to be a convenience for leaving work to be resumed the next morning, a luxury I'd like to keep for this coming semester!Require password on wakeup: Yes
