Windows 7 64x Keeps Freezing - Please Help!
Hello,
I have read through other threads and seems people have similar problems as I do. My brand new Studio 1747 laptop with Windows 7 keeps freezing at random times, regardless of whether I'm browsing the internet for school purposes or working on a Word document or Power Point presentation. It will work fine for days and then it will crash. I will have to shut it down with the power off button and reboot the system, for the Contrl Alt Delete, won't even work. I'm so frustrated because it's a brand new system and it shouldn't be doing this. The folks over at my computer's manufacturer are no help, but I do know it's not a hardware issue. I just updated the Bios for a second time tonight; I had first updated when I first received the system in January. I have tried everything and I keep my system up to date with the antivirus (McAfee) and spyware softwares. I also perform weekly maintainance on the system. My computer's manufacturer one day try to sell me software warranty because I must have a virus for a whole lot of money for a system that I already paid a great deal of money on, and for which I think should be virus-free. And then another day, wants me to keep performing full-system restores and re-installing the whole system... WHAT THE HECK?!
Anyway, I'm attaching a copy of the latest event log. The error I'm showing you is at the time I believe my system crashed, because there were other errors but that one error was at the time my system crashed last. Any ideas?
