    Welcome!

Can Windows boot? You may want to test your hard drive and RAM.

Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder.. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.

You might try a system files check and/or repair install.

You can start a new task in task manager, and type explorer.exe.

If it works, great. If not, you can pull up a command prompt by starting cmd.

Don't worry about that. It should work anyway.

Here's what mine says, because I have an administrator account:

If you want to start the setup from the command prompt, first, find your DVD drive letter.

    Try these commands:

    D:\setup.exe

If you get an error, try the E drive:

    E:\setup.exe
