Ouch! I bet that hurt. You were lucky in that it was your left arm, unless, of course, you are left-handed in which case it was a most unfortunate event. Still, it could have been far worse.
Take care, and don't forget to do the exercises to rebuild the strength in your arm. Can I suggest this one (ignore what it says for the Over 50s)?

xD she's being very kind to me. Helping me do a lot of things that I seem not to be able to do. I'm just glad it's me and not her; she almost slipped while coming to my house... that was really scary.

I used to rock climb in my foolhardy 20s until I realised losing the use of a hand would break me. Fractured the ol' legs here and there but it's all good now. Yea, casts itch like hell.
Get all your friends to sign your cast and take a pic when it's full, it'll be something to remember later :)
