I am using Mailwasher 6.5, and then after processing Outlook 2007, I am testing also Outlook 2010 which works fine

i know i could google an answer, but why do people use mailwasher? am i right in thinking that you wash your mail first with that program, then start up outlook? doesn't outlook's own junk mail filter work very well?

WLM seems to filter most of mine without the need for another program - of course,it's not perfect and sometimes labels 'nice' things as junk and vice versa, but it's still pretty good...

or have i misunderstood mailwasher - does it do more than filter junk mail?

It washes mail very well, and you can read the mail in the app itself to check if you need to read it into your mailclient or can just delete it.

You can also set a mailclient to open if you click on a mail.

Using mailwasher you hardly need to open your mailclient.

sorry i still don't understand - then why not just use mailwasher as your client?

to paraphrase an old shampoo advert: why take two bottles into the shower when you only need one? :)

you can only read text, no html. You can't see attachments, you can't answer.
