are there no charities in your area who can trap the cat, neuter it, and try to rehome the problem feline?
the cat is just a dumb animal - you aren't.
I tried the proper channels, but they only seem to be interested in picking up dogs.
What discrimination!
And this cat is a monster, and it's opposite of dumb.
I have stayed up a few nights to try and catch it.
My plan was to bring it to a district of my country that is surrounded by water and only has two highway entrances/exits.
But even though I was very quiet and hid myself, it somehow knew.
He stayed in front of the cat door and turned around.
Then I constructed a trap around the cat door that was not visible from the outside.
I made an electrical triggering device to operate it remotely.
I had a remote camera pointing at the cat door and a monitor in my bedroom.
I was all set to go.
I even slept in my clothes for a week, in case I caught him.
But again, the monster somehow knew and stayed out.
The night after I gave up, he came in again, and messed up my living room and kitchen.
He even poohed and peed inside.
About the cat.
It is quite a dangerous animal to approach.
It's humongous and very aggressive.
My tomcat is quite big, but he is no match for this guy.
Plus my cats are very sweet and domesticated, and they just don't have a defense against such aggression.
I have gone through a lot of measures to try to solve this peacefully, but enough is enough.
There are millions of animals slaughtered each year.
So, one cat isn't going to shock the world.
Like I said, I feel bad about it,
but when someone or something threatens the lives of my family or animals,
I will do what ever it takes.
