Terminal commands are a bit like commands in cmd :)
    Not in my experience.

Could you give me an example?

    Ok, point taken :)

Now if only I can remember the commands I always have to google them lol. Windows I probably remember better because I have been using it longer.

I only use a few (same with Windows) and keyboard short cuts, but I'm growing to like Zorin more then Windows, its the speed of it ! and not having to mess about with AV, antimalware though Zorin does have a firewall .. if you want to use it :)

    I'm experimenting with Wine ATM.

Zorin is an OK distro if you want to do simple things. It does not have the same facilities as e.g. Mint and is also a little buggy. I have a little demo I made:

    Having fun with Zorin

I always recommend Mint Mate as a much better option. Watch my demo on the link and you will see.

Idk, thanks for your input whs. I have tried mint, ubuntu, lubuntu, red hat, fedora, elementary, debian, open suse etc.

Out of the box sure maybe, but you can always get or add those packages. Its based off ubuntu just like mint and ubuntu etc. SO its not like you cannot add those features you want. Mint is based on Debian and Ubuntu, it provides about 30,000 packages so it is no wonder you feel like it can do anything ha. To me that is bloated.

Out of all of them, I liked zorin the best. I did experiance some bugs, but there latest release has been a lot better. Part of it I am sure is cause it looks more like windows 7 and has the features, but I think I like it more as it does things the way I expect it to.

I guess it is kinda hard for me to put it in words.

In the end, that is what makes linux awesome, is there is a LOT of choice and one distro does not suit everyone. You do what works for you.

Yeah, but that's not that easy for a layman. And I guess the laymen were the target for Zorin.

Maybe I should try one of their latest versions and see whether things got better. I did like to work with the people on the Zorin forum. They were always very helpful.

Stephanie, maybe you can make a video like I did and show us your experience with Zorin.
