I don't know, since I've never tried that mix, but sometimes mixing good things together results in something less good.

No, I haven't. but the crackers and peanut butter sounds okay, it is adding almonds to the mix that I'm not sure of.
I like to get a big spoon full of Honey Roasted Peanut Butter, add a package of M & M's, mix it up & then I have a snack (or dinner).
Way back in the 1970s, during the 'back to nature" craze, my mom would make peanut butter sometimes. She just used her blender. The method mentioned by boobah above looks about right... it was only peanuts, oil, and maybe salt. It never looked as "professional" as the store bought stuff, but man, it was good!
I get this at the supermarket. It's great with chicken, some sort of noodles, some green onion...yum

The recipes varies, but extra peanut oil is not necessarily required. I won't know until I try it out, but I think it depends on the type of peanut used. Although Valencias are frequently used, Spanish Peanuts contain more oil. Of course, as far as I have found so far, they seem to always still have their red skins on, and would need to be removed before processing, which would become quite tedious I think. It all comes down to preferences.
I used to like peanut butter, especially the chunky type. Then I had the luck to sample "unsweetened" peanut butter. To my horror it was almost completely repulsive to me - which made me realise just how much sugar goes into regular peanut butter.
Have not had it ever since.
Funny when I first started eatting Saltless products like chips pretzels and nuts
The taste was like but then once you throw a few more in your mouth and get the natual flavor of it all you would get used to it
If you ever eaten saltless peanuts then that would be the same as sugarless peanutbutter and it's healthier for you too not all that extra junk your body doesn't need
