FCC: Wireless carriers must agree on phone unlocking rules

The FCC has told carriers that they must voluntarily agree on what rights consumers have in relation to unlocking their mobile devices, or the agency will make a ruling dictating policy instead.

Most the time the device is so dated by the end of a contract it's fairly worthless anyway,
But yes after a contract is done the device should be Unlocked because the contract has been fulfilled and they got the price back via monthly fees,

Wonder if it would be adopted this side the pond, it's how I got my Nokia Lumia for free by being locked into a carrier and of course it was the lowest version to start with so by the time the contracts up it will be even further behind the times.

Agree to Forum Rules
Hi All, For some reason, after I registered, I got a message saying that I didn't agree to the forum rules. I thought I did and I'm happy to abide by all forum rules. How do I go back and click the box that says I agree to the forum rules? Thanks! Tom
