We're all missing him as well Amber. He will always be missed here. But you be sure and let us all know when the next contest begins, and we'll still do our best to get you to the top. A Guy

I was just updating a leaderboard and saw his name in it. He didn't have a great GPU but took part all the same. Little reminders that he loved every part of the forum and enjoyed getting involved in everything.
He is in my thoughts every day.
You all at Seven Forums have done so much and I can never tell enough how much it has helped. I understand now how you all Loved Gary as friend and more as a family member. You will all be in my thoughts as I will be going back to work today and wont be near his computer. My son Gary Alan will be staying here every other day and will be on checking for your thoughts and giving updates. Again a big THANK YOU and Love from me and my children. Pam (Britton30)
Here is the link to his memorial book incase some people may have missed it if you would like to write in it. As I will be ordering a custom printed copy of the book on the anniversary of his passing. Gary's phone is also still in service if anyone would like to call 765-430-2692 ( My son has his phone right now since I am at work and would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have. ) Thanks, Pam ( Britton30 )

Lynn Johnston, the cartoonist for "For Better or for Worst", has retired but has been rerunning her old strips. She often comments on the motivation for a particular daily strip. Here is what she wrote for today's strip (08/01/2014). I feel it conveys why many of us here grieve the loss off Gary.
This sentiment reflects the feeling I had when my women friends moved away from Lynn Lake. In this small town, good friends kept me sane. When my friend Nancy Lawn left for Edmonton, I told her I was happy for her, and I really was! I congratulated her husband on his promotion and transfer, and I earnestly wished them well. As they drove away, I waved and smiled until their car disappeared, and then I cried. I cried for all the good times we could have had. I cried for me.
