    Window calendar from Vista

I liked Windows Calendar on my old Vista PC. My new PC has WIN7 which omitted the calendar. I imported the Vista Windows Calendar to the WIN7 machine and can access it from the taskbar. I would like for it to open at bootup so I don't have to remember to open it each time manually (you will get old and forgetful sometime). I have tried a few things, "unsuccessfuly". I posted on the Customize forum but got no good answers. Any help here?? Thanks, Joe

    Hi Joe,

Copy the folder Windows Calendar from Program Files in Windows Vista and paste it in the same location in Windows 7 (you will need to provide administrative credentials). Next, open the folder and right-click on the executable and select Create shortcut. Right-click on the newly created shortcut and click Cut. Browse to the following folder, right-click in it and click Paste.

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

If you can't see that folder, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and deselect Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) with reference to Folder Options - Open

Thanks again Dwarf. I had tried other solutions must more complicated than yours several times without success. Your "simple" solution worked the first time.
