Not getting full screen on 22" monitor in Portrait mode

I just good dual Dell monitors, one 20" and one 22." I want to set them with the 20" for my browser in landscape and the 22" for writing in portrait.

I was able to do that except for one problem. The 22" in portrait doesn't fill up the entire screen. There is about 4" of black on the top and bottom (kinda defeats the purpose).

The 22" is set for the recommended resolution (1680x1050) and that's as high as it goes.

    Any ideas?
