    control panel does not always contain the uninstall information , if the software programmer is a bit sloppy writing the programme and forgets or omits this informatiom it will not be registered in control panel, have a look in the HP folder to see if the uninstall information is there

    Go to devices and printers, right click , uninstall device.

    Try going to printers and devices and right click and uninstall device.

    Good luck, I have found with printers running on USB you always have to install the drivers etc before connecting the cable, Its also applies if it is a wireless printer it also has to be set up this way first
