how to get Windows 7 drivers for Acer v5 551

I am going to remove Win 8 and install win 7 . I see I have an AMD sticker on this laptop will that make a difference? Where would I find the drivers I need?

Windows Update should take care of the necessary drivers for you.

There are also programs like DriverPack Solution(Recommended) or DriverMax or slimdriver that will take care of those drivers

Thank you , but I cannot get online? . I tried Driver pack solutions but I must get these from somewhere else:
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7812
PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_1083
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0034

Last 4 need after Driver Pack solutions. But I am finding them hard to find??

For a laptop, always get the drivers for your operating system from the manufacturer of your laptop. That means a trip to the Acer website:

Unfortunately, in this case, the drivers are only for Win 8. Snoop around the Acer site and see if you can find Win 7 drivers for a similar laptop to yours. Keep in mind that Acer only supports Win 8 on this laptop and you may not be able to get the proper Win 7 drivers for it.

Hi there .. You should also try the Windows 8 Drivers .. A lot of them work with Windows 7

Go to Acer website, then menu Drivers, you can choose what computer you have and you can download all drivers. Thats how i found them for my Acer Aspire 5750G.

You really should read the other posts before posting yourself ... because in post #4, the site was checked and it only has drivers for Win8.

Yep, sry for that, but as far as i know the same drivers should work for windows 7.

Thank you all. There is only one USB controller I can not get the driver update but everything seems to work fine. Glad to be rid of Win 8:D:D
