Only black screen before the Windows "Welcome" screen
I've made this thread so many times in so many windows forums and I still haven't gotten this problem fixed. I think it's either my display adapter, graphics card or whatever it is, or it could be the monitor itself. All the responses I used to get were to install my newest drivers and that sort. It's really frustrating, y'know? Not even switching operating systems helps. I CAN'T even install a new operating system because of this. The problem is that whenever I turn on my PC, everything BEFORE I get the "Welcome" screen is black. Entirely, uttrely black. The only thing that pops up when I turn on my PC is that motherboard screen at the start up. After that, it's pitch black. No windows loading screen, I can't even see the options whenever I want to boot into safe mode - You know, those "Safe mode", "Safe mode with networking" stuff when you press F8. Nothing. If I try to install a clean OS, I can't see which harddrive I'm selecting, because why? - The screen is blank. What is this stupid error that I'm not able to fix for the past two years? I've tried everything. Absolutely EVERYTHING. Switching resolutions, uninstalling drivers and reinstalling them again. I haven't tried different monitors yet, but that's stupid. How can it be from the monitor? Let me hear all of your replies. I'd love to finally fix this bloody glitch.
