    Samsung R519 sata drivers

    Hello everyone.

I have a Samsung NP-R519 laptop and my HDD is full of bad sectors. I bought a new hard disk and I'm trying to install Windows 7 from scratch, but when I'm at the point to choose partition, I get an error that no disk found. I change the AHCI option in bios to IDE, but the same thing happens.
I tried to find sata drivers to continue the installation but no luck.

    Any help appreciated.

Keep it AHCI, and you don't need additional drivers for AHCI.

Is your HDD recognized in BIOS?

Ok, go through the tutorial, especially try with another install media (DVD if you used USB, or vice versa).

i burnt the same image again on a new DVD and it worked. I had already tried 3 diferrent installation DVDs and none of them worked but they had worked on another PC.
    Thank you for your help.

Weird things do happen, it may be the brand of DVD-R's you used, possibly a compatibility issue. Glad it worked alright! :)
