AMD drivers causing BSOD
Hey guys,
I posted this on AMD forums too but no one replied unfortunately. Any help appreciated.
This problem started recently and I got STOP 0x00000116 BSOD in normal mode. After some search it was clear that was video card driver related issue.
So in my Device Manager my video driver shows 2 drivers:
1.AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700 series and
2. AMD Radeon HD 6520G
So my research said that I should update or reinstall those drivers to get rid of BSOD. But when I try to update windows says it is the latest and when I delete those and reinstal BSOD occurs again.
When I completely unistall those drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller my drivers in device manager show VGA standart and BSOD doesnt appear and I can access normal mode without any problem.
So it apperas this problem is beacuse of AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700 series and AMD Radeon HD 6520G drivers. Whatever driver I download from AMD site they either don't work or intalls those 2 drivers again (auto detect tool also install those 2). In other words, I can't install any other drivers except those 2 and they cause BSOD in normal mode at boot.
Please help.
Some info (my Windows is in russian so please ask anything if you need). If I should provide additional info please let me know. Thank you for your time.
PS: I didn't change anything prior to this problem. I was watching video and then put computer to sleep and left and when I returned home and opened laptop this problem started.
