Cannot find device driver for Ethernet Controller  

I recently formatted my computer and re-installed Windows 7 Home Premium because it was getting BSODs randomly when using the internet.

Everything went well except that when I checked device manager to determine what driver I should download for my Ethernet Controller so that I could connect to the internet, it gives almost no information.

Under the driver tab the information given is

When I click the driver details button a message says "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device."

I am unsure what to do next to figure out what device driver I need to connect to the internet. Thank you for any help.

you will need another computer to download the below files onto a flash drive, then move it over to the problem computer

Start just by installing the network driver from the asus page for the B85MG motherboard

but it would not hurt to also run intel driver detect

and also run asus live update

you might also need a bios update to support your cpu, here is the link for that:

and if the above does not get you working after a reboot, please post the contents in the right hand pane after doing this:

start > run > msinfo32 > components > problem devices

Whenever that right hand pane is blank, that means your drivers are good to go
