    Wiondows 7 & B450 - some USB ports work, some don't

    Hi!

First of all, I'd like to thank Kaktussoft for creating this topic. This week, I had to replace a friend's faulty mainboard with a new one. My friend asked me to leave everything else untouched, so I downloaded the necessary drivers, put them on the SSD, swapped the hardware, and used the Paragon CD (and a PS/2 keyboard) to make the system boot. Last but not least, I installed the drivers.

    - USB 2.0 ports (back) are working
    - USB 3.0 ports (front) are working
    - USB 3.2 ports (back) are not working

According to the device manager, I need to install drivers for the following PCI device:

    Code:
    VEN_1022&DEV_1639&SUBSYS_7A381462&REV_00

I've tried several drivers, including modded ones, but none of them worked. Am I out of luck here?

    Thanks in advance!

It's an MSI B450M Pro-VDH Max, paired with a Ryzen 3 4300GE. The CPU graphics aren't working, but that's ok, since my friend is using a dedicated GPU.

Best not use drivers in my sig for that machine

    canonkong:
ASUS AMD platforms can not use the win8 port driver with General ID like PCI\CC_0C0330,PCI\VEN_1022&CC_0C0330,or it will freeze on insalling or boot system...

For the xhci controllers from CPU, I recommend to use AMD Radeon USB 3.1 drivers v1.0.0.13, it also can work as a universal driver.
    Then inf edit as this:
USB 3/XHCI driver stack for Windows 7

    canonkongs latest for amd
Win7/8.1 Drivers for USB 3.0/3.1 Controllers of new AMD Chipset Systems

Thanks for pointing me towards canonkong's drivers. I've seen his thread before, but I'm not sure if I tried to install his drivers. I'll do so on Monday.
