Welcome to seven forums apvm: What it that your wondering? Maybe you could elaborate on your concerns and others could supply you with answers. Thanks Fabe
Well, the labtop don't come with a Vista CD so if I do a clean install, I wouldn't able to get back to Vista, this is one of my concern and the other is I ran the Windows 7 upgrade manager and it seems that i may have driver problem with the nforce 560 chipset with 64bit, not sure about 32 bit. Now after reading a lot from the web there seems to be a number of people that can upgrade to Windows 7 with this labtop...I just want to be sure. I also checked most of my compoinents has Windows 7 drivers except the nforce 560 chipset...only Vista 32/64 bit drivers.
My plan is to upgrade my labtop from 2GB to 4GB before installing 7 64bit, so I just want to make sure the labtop could, if not may be 32bit 7 since I heard they are more older drivers friendly than 64bit.
Well your suspicions are correct about Nvidia only having chipset drivers for Vista 32bit and 64bit. So hopefully someone with the same 560 chipset can tell you if the 32 or 64 bit Vista drivers can be installed in compatibility mode and if they work properly.Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers For instructions on compatibility mode Compatibility Mode You migth also want to use the search function on this site as well as trying to Google or Bing it. Good luck Fabe
I just upgraded a 4520G with Windows 7 Ent 64 bit, no problem, if you need drivers, I have all of them now with me.
Thanks and welcome to seven forums lewisteo. Well their you go. Good luck and enjoy. Fabe

Welcome to seven forums apvm: From what it reads like, Seven had all but his chipset drivers which can be found on the nvidia site these are the 32 bit version of the nforce 560 Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Of course I'm assuming you have the same laptop. If not their are plenty of qualified people that can help you find the drivers you might need. Fabe
