Before windows starts the external mouse is having power but after the windows appear the mouse controller power is off and i think its not detecting the mouse controller?

I try External HD inserting to the USB port and its detecting it but when i try to insert the Mouse Controller to USB port its not detecting it?

I look on BIOS and it seems i cant find mouse controller their???

    Am i missing something?

Welcome to Seven Forums. It would appear that the mouse RF recier is not being reconized. Have you tried it in another system to make sure it is not defective? If it works on another system then we will need the exact wireless mouse model # to search for a driver for it since windows is not loading one. Also you might want to check in device manager and see if their are any problem USB devices with a yellow icon next to it. if so we can also go from their. Thanks. Fabe

    Tnx for the reply.

Im working now... the notebook is in my home.

    About device manager?
Ive check all USB port and Mouse ps/2 device with no issues. Or no yellow mark.
Its not even detecting new hardware.

On booting before windows starts the USB optical mouse has a red light color.

The question is when windows 7 welcome screen appear the USB optical mouse red light disappear?

Later will try insert to my XP if it works.

Ive search and found this link
Troubleshoot failure to find new mouse connected to your USB port
    Never try this link yet.

What is really the problem on my windows 7?

    This is what really happen.

Their are 2 USB port on Acer Aspire 4730z

The upper part is working but the lower part USB port is damage.

So im inserting the upper parts USB port.

Mouse has a power on booting but when Windows Starts the Mouse power is OFF.

The USB mouse Deluxe is not damage because i test it on windows xp.

The upper part USB port is working because im using my External HD.

Im guessing maybe the upper part USB port is not for MOUSE?

    Added Info:
    Mouse model is DELUX M352

    I found the site

    Delux Technology

When i look at the specification
System Requirements: Compatible with windows 98/2000/NT/ME/XP.

Maybe this is the issue why its not working on Windows 7?

If their is a windows XP driver for it just use compatibility mode to install it. However it sounds like their is something else going on here. Fabe Compatibility Mode

I cant really understand. Why? because its not even detecting the mouse on inserting to notebook. After inserting to notebook i only hear a sound then no "Found New Hardware".

How can i run compatibility mode on mouse? or where should i click to run compatibility mode?
