I'm usually not one to give up. But I was up all night last night trying to fix this darn thing and nothing seems to be working. If erecovery was supposed to come with my machine, I'm not finding it anywhere.

Microsoft sent me the Windows 7 Pro downloadable which took four hour to download. After that, I simply installed it thinking that whatever was on my Windows 7 starter when I first booted up would remain after I upgraded. I didn't back anything up because I didn't have anything on it to begin with but whatever came with it. This was also my first OS upgrade I had ever performed on my own.
1) First make USB installer.
USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create
Make bootable iso from student d/l
2) Have your used Windows updates?
Go here and follow instructions
Acer Aspire One 150 CCD SUYIN Driver - DownloadNew.org
NoN, my 'Disk' Management' page says I have a 12.00 GB Healthy (Recovery Partition). Does this mean that I may be able to recover what I had in the past?
echrada, when I try downloading the .zip file the page keeps saying this:
This webpage is not available.
The webpage at ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/netbook..._V.1.0.1.3.zip might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address
Also, it says I do have a recovery option from system restore. Should I use that? And if i do, how would I reinstall Windows 7 Pro without having the same affects?
System Restore is allowing me only to go back as far as 7/1/10 even when I check 'Show More Restore Points'. I need to get back to right before 6/25/10. Is this possible?
Just to be sure...during the new upgrade if you remember something like "this will erase all your data, backup your files" then I'm not sure about the restore partition, it might be the one re-created from the new install.
there was nothing left from Acer after the upgrade? (i'm curious aswell)
System restore might be unless since it is not related to the previous operating system.
It looks you will have to reinstall some of the Acer Applications (bloatwares) to make some drivers works properly.
I'm sorry not being more helpful at the moment.
The only things that were left after the upgrade were the files in the Start -> Programs menu. Nothing related to Acer that I can find. Its alright though, NoN. Thanks for giving your input and effort.
I have sent you an invite to download the driver from my dropbox.
