Hi, Welcome to Seven forums.

One thing that caught my eye in your system specs was
Code:
standard VGA graphics adapter
. Have you installed the drivers properly for your graphic card? Do you know what graphic card you have?

Hi there, thanks for replying!

Well actually I don't!!...To be honest with you I'm not even sure if I have a graphic card or not!!!...
I was told by my computer vendor, that I may not required an additional graphic card for few games...and those can be played with an intel i5 processor at low resolution!!...That could be incorrect!!...So, do I need to get a graphic card...even for NFS??? And If I do need one...could you suggest which one do I go for?
And how do I make sure that drivers are installed properly....Can you guide me on this one too bro!!..
I'd appreciate the help!!!

Well, I was talking about having a graphic card. You can either have onboard card (the slot from where the cable is coming out and connecting in your monitor) or it can be an external card. Best option for you would be to open the cabinet and check, if you have any external card from which your monitor is connected or is just connected directly on motherboard.

I am also attaching pics for you to see what I mean by external card and onbaord card when you open the cabinet.

1. is the external graphic card (GPU).
2. (in this pic there is no onboard GPU. But the onbord will be here some where.

Once you open and confirm what kind of card you have. Then from there we can guide you which drivers to download and install (Nvidia, AMD or Intel). If it is onboard, it will be Intel. Else on an external card some name will be mentioned. Please let use know that.

Hey, thanks for the elaboration!!

One more question before I start opening up my CPU, Is there any way to check the graphic card other than opening up the system...I mean like you check other specs..u know!!
I haveGIGABYTE GA-H81M-S1 motherboard, does it have an inbuilt graphic card?
And it's ok if you don't reply to that buddy....probably I'm asking too many questions....:p

Come on. We all are here to help each other. unless we ask questions how will be able to help. :)....so, go one ask as many as you want (till, they are not personal :)).

Yes, the motherboard has onboard graphic card. this is the back panel of your motherboard. One that is marked is the onbaord card. Is the cable from monitor connected to this port or some place else? If it is connected to that, it is onboard. You just need to go to Gigabyte's site and download the drivers. But, if not, you gotta open the cabinet and check the card.

Here is the link to Gigabyte site from where you can download the drivers for the VGA. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4669#dl

Select the OS and type of driver you want to download. Select the OS and at the bottom you will see VGA. Download that and install it as normal exe.

Yes, that's exactly(the slot) from where my monitor is connected to the CPU[or the motherboard]
Does that mean that I have an on-board graphic card and just need to go to that link you provided and check/ download the drivers?

Yes, If you are sure that is the port it is connected to, just go to the link provided and download VGA drivers and install them. Can you also post a pic of the backpanel of your motherboard?

Just an update: You would also need DirectX to play the games. Do you have that installed?

I don't know if DirectX is installed; but on the DVD it's mentioned that DirectX is included!!
And about the picture; Is it O.K. if I just take one of the back of my cabinet[with all the cables attached, or do I need to open the cabinet and then take picture of the motherboard only
