How to avoid popup with scan prompt when plugin USB stick?

When I plugin an USB stick then a popup appears which asks me if I want to scan and fix the new mounted USB stick. See attached Snapshot.

How can I suppress/avoid this warning popup?
I always want to "continue without warning".

Under WiNXP this was possible. So guess this should be possible under Win7 as well.

I don't understand why you would want to "continue without warning". Why wouldn't you want to scan and fix? I've personally never encountered this popup but I always do the "safely eject" on my USB devices. Isn't this telling you that you've got some corruption or other issue with the USB stick?

I agree with strollin. If you scan and fix the error, you won't see it anymore. If you keep getting the pop-up, copy everything off the drive and format it. If you still keep getting the error, I'd replace the drive.

I am with the Deacon and Strollin. Have you tried scanning the USB stick? How did you determine there isn't a problem with the USB stick in the first place?

I seem to get this a lot when I plug in my iPod, although upon using the iPod there seems to be no errors. Might try fully scanning it later and see what comes from it.

Well, it would make minor sense for the iPod as it actually has a disk, although in some ways, I think it might also have issues with how the data is stored as it is a different device altogether.

On a USB memory stick, technically, there shouldn't be 'defects' unless the stick is damaged or failing, as there is no hard disk and data should be stored differently than that of a hard disk. Although it does not mean you can't mess with the data on a USB stick to have data corruption either.
