Perhaps, if the important parts are made required (CPU, RAM, HDD, GPU, etc.) there can be a 'why?' section, explaining why its required?

I'm not ADMIN so actually that would be a solution that might be brought to there attention.

But a better solution to add (IMHO) to signature, is look and see if they have any specs. NO, then post back NO ASSISTANCE ON MY PART UNTIL YOU HAVE SYSTEM SPECS.
This I feel is only reasonable... but many ppl have NO IDEA that those whom help are NOT MIND READERS>

    very importand also is "
    1. where did they get there LEAK? utorrent - WZOR link, or Gosugoon link,
link from PCBeta (china) or WAREZ.
    2. was it iso or vhd
    3. what was the actual name. very important.
    4. several forums it was found 75 pages later he forget to say he used "someother forums patch". which was not from the official site. therefore the instuction for using that PATCH was not correct. also it was modified and contained a TROJAN.
    5. Many times they also inform that they DUAL BOOT INCORRECTLY.
    6. Many TIMES they later say (page 56) I did it exactly How Xxxxx said only I changed this part to.
    7. Which loader was used?
    8. Was it OEM or Retail leak?

Its not they lie about it, they simply do not tell the WHOLE truth.

I agree about the lack of information in user's system specs. Is a bit annoying when you try to help somebody and don't even know what's his processor is, or motherboard, RAM... you just know that they've Windows 7.
There's a freeware that I've found some time ago in Microsoft's site made by Gabriel Topala called System Information for Windows. That could help people to fill their system specs.

    Hope it helps somebody. :)

Rather than requiring system specs on sign-up/sign-in, could/would it be possible to have the site s/w enforce a "no post without specs" policy and then, at the same time, define what minimum systems specs would be required?
