Help!!!!
Hello, I need help in a big way and I am not sure what section of the forum this goes in. My daughter's computer, HP G60 530US, has something really wrong with it. It will not open up any programs, files etc... Evertytime I try it gives the following message
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
It gives this message no matter what yoou try to open. I have went on line to look for a possible download to fix the problem but no luck. I know that the computer has a 64 bit system because I have the same one. One thing I did notice is that when the message does pop up across the top of the window it says:
C:\Program Files (X86)\Hewlett-Packard then whatever program I am trying to open
Any suggestions before the laptop takes a flight across the room?!?!?
