    Plugged in, Not Charging

    Help,
When I try to start my Laptop when it is not plugged in to the power it wont start. When I Plug it in and Start it, it works. But on the task bar power icon it says plugged in not charging.
Please Help as tis is becoming very annoying always having to connect to the Power.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like a battery problem. How old is your lappy? Do you have access to a spare battery or a mate with the same model?

I believe there was a update to solve some of these issues, but at the same time, it could also be a failing power port on the laptop.

If the laptop is under warranty, even if its not, you should contact the manufacture.
This could easily be a hardware issue as it would be what controls the state of the battery.
And the fact you cannot turn the laptop on without being plugged in screams hardware issue.
