    Icons not displayed correctly

    Hello folks.

My desktop icons displays like attached file

I have already tried rebuilding icon cache but it didn't solve the issue.
Tried system restore as well but no respite.

What else could I do ?

Did you use the Seven Forums Tutorial to rebuild the icon cache? If not, please take a look through it here:
    Icon Cache - Rebuild

You could thy the 'automatic' method. :)

Hello Zander, and welcome to Seven Forums.

This is your shortcut arrow overlay icon on your shortcuts that got messed up somehow. You should be able to use the free program in OPTION ONE of the tutorial below to restore the default arrow overlay icon. :)

Shortcut Arrow - Change, Remove, or Restore

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
