    Please Help

    Hi,

    I want to disable taskmanager, cmd, regedit and right-click option on start menu on the guest account. But in the guest account i am not allowed to create new keys or DWORD.

    However i tried to do it in my administrator account but no effect. everything is fully accesible.

    I used the below setting to disable taskmanager, cmd, regedit and right-click option on startmenu. But no effect.

    Please tell me what is wrong with this.

    I am using Windows 7 Home Basic x64

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoChangeStartMenu"=dword:00000001

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
    "DiasableTaskMgr"=dword:00000001
    "DisableCMD"=dword:00000001
    "DisableRegistryTools"=dword:00000002

    You should be doing this with the group policy manager, not by tweaking registry entries.
    Local Group Policy Editor - Open

    but group policy editor is not available in Win7 HB.

    So i have to do it using registry edit.

    can you tell me if the registry tweaks i used correct or not ?
