    Reset to device

    Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.
    I am getting this warning and system is hanging on that time.

    What does it mean? Google search gives lot of explanation for this. So, I really don't know what could be the real reason

    Thanks

    The order is from latest. I didn't attach any new device. It was working good. My avast stopped working and I don't even able to check events. I hanged every time I boot computer. So, I did a format and installed a fresh copy of Windows. Now i have NOD32 Trial version. If it is good, I will go ahead and buy.

    Now computer have installed the following.
    Notepad++
    Nod32
    VLC
    Wamp
    Firefox 3.x
    Chrome and utorrent

    That is it

    Hi Agriz. Do you mean your system is OK now?
    I would recommend MSE, link in my sig as a better AV than NOD32, and it's free! :)

    If you still need help, try running SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    I used mse. But it allows virus inside and then it cures it. But avast and Nod32 never allow such a site to view. They block them immediately.

    Are you sure MSE is the best? If so, I will do it now.

    Personally, I think Norton is the best, and I think MSE is better than NOD32. MSE will still find and kill badware and it's definitions are updated through Windows Updates. I am using MSE on a XP install I have.
