fair enough observation...remember that software is essentially at heart to satisfy the user and the problem they need to solve

Yeah, it is definitely more satisfying for me as well. Just knowing that the version I have is direct from MS, and activated with legit keys makes me feel a ton better about things.

To the OP: I would definitely suggest installing 7600, seeing as how it is the gold code. 7260 was an internal build that leaked, which means it is definitely not ready for prime time.

Just my thoughts on it.

Because we don't know everything that has changed. We know some things, and a few know a lot of things - but things change all the time. This is not some software that you download as a patch to existing software nor is it a small app with 5 known changes / bug fixes - this is an entire Operating system, with millions of lines of code.

I am willing to be there is not a single person on ht planet that knows everything that has changed thus far in W7 RTM. So, in light of that, we answered as best as we could.

the better question is why was such a question ever asked in the first place....

Which is the newest version that uses RC Keys?
I'm currently using Windows 7 Build 7068 (beta) and if I read right, it will start to reboot every 2 hours starting tomorrow. What's the newest version of windows 7x64 that uses RC keyes? (I read b7264 uses different keys)
