SFC checks Windows System Files and in many cases fixes them.

If you want to try again to disinfect and then repair the System files, follow these steps for when Windows 7 fails to boot .

Look for the COA sticker on bottom of laptop or back/side of tower, make sure the Product Key is readable:
    Attachment 198965

Tell us the licensed version listed on the COA sticker and we'll provide an ISO file to burn to DVD or write to flash stick, boot to clean reinstall following these steps: Reinstalling Windows 7
    Product number

Does the laptop have a COA sticker? If so, the key and the version (Ultimate/Enterprise/etc) will be on it.

Remove the Product Key from your post now. This is the key to use to activate Win7 and not the licensed version. Tell us the Win7 version listed on the sticker.

If you want to try to save your existing installation work through these steps to disinfect and repair for when Windows 7 fails to boot.

If you want to clean reinstall download this official installer ISO to be used for repairs and reinstall: Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 English Official ISO download

Burn to DVD or write to flash stick using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool

Then boot the DVD or stick, follow these Clean Reinstall steps
