Does the laptop have a COA sticker? If so, the key and the version (Ultimate/Enterprise/etc) will be on it.
If you want to try to save your existing installation work through these steps to disinfect and repair for when Windows 7 fails to boot.
If you want to clean reinstall download this official installer ISO to be used for repairs and reinstall: Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 English Official ISO download
Burn to DVD or write to flash stick using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool
Then boot the DVD or stick, follow these Clean Reinstall steps
So basically i just nuked and reinstalled. Thanks for the help all!
I know this thread is old, but I figure it is worth a shot. I'm fixing a friends computer and have a valid COA. I need the iso for Vista Home Premium. I have been unable to find it anywhere. Thanks to anyone who can help!!
